Little Flower Tea Party and Badging Ceremony

Our first badging ceremony was beautiful thanks to the hard work of a special family.  We enjoyed pink tea (lemonade) and each Little Flower shared 13 things they gave to each of the other girls as an act of loving thy neighbor.  The 13 items could be anything the Little Flower chose.  We had prayer notebooks, rosaries, pencils, cookies, quotes, bookmarks, and prayer cards.  Next, each mother presented their daughter with the badges she had earned thus far in our journey through Wreath I.  Each Little Flower earned her badge of faith, hope, Love of God, and Love of Neighbor.

Our next project is hosting the Mardi Gras Fellowship for our Catholic Community.  The girls worked very hard preparing decorations and games we will be sharing with our parishioners on Sunday!  The Little Flower Group is definitely growing the virtue of Loving thy Neighbor and a Love of God!

This can be anything that you decide.  13 cookies, notes, pictures, Holy Card, saint quotes, pencils, stickers, candies, whatever your Little Flower decides.  We are showing love of neighbor at this meeting and preparing for the upcoming Mardi Gras celebration, Sunday, March 2nd.  The Little Flowers are responsible for set up and hosting the Mardi Gras Fellowship on March 2nd.  Please arrive at the chapel by 9 or 9:15.  More information will be given at the meeting tomorrow!
